5 thingsI learned about trying out Korean food for the first time:

1. Don’t go to a Korean restaurant without someone who knows how to order from the menu.
2. Don’t order anything with the description of: clear noodle
3. Forks must be requested
4. Watch the people around you at other tables to figure out how to even eat the food
5. Just order BBQ pork.

  1. I used to hate glass noodles, too. My sister is Korean and my mother thought it would be good to explore the culture growing up. I finally took to jap chae which is pretty good, once you’ve eaten it three or four times. Keep trying, Korean may grow on you yet 🙂
